Women’s Healthcare of Morgantown offers Obstetrical and Gynecological ultrasound to our patients. Ultrasounds will be ordered by your physician when clinically necessary.
Pelvic ultrasounds are used to assess the uterus and ovaries. Obstetrical ultrasounds are performed to evaluate fetus for size, age, anatomy, and other measures of fetal well-being.
To ensure that the sonographer gives you the best care possible, we ask that children under the age of 5 be accompanied by an adult.
Women’s Health Care offers elective ultrasounds that are not covered by health insurance. You may schedule a gender ultrasound at 16 weeks or a 4D ultrasound, which is often best performed around 30 weeks.
